Locomotive Incident in Homebush
Mackay Sugar confirms there was an incident today involving one of our locomotives. Emergency services have responded to the incident and are attending to an injured employee.
Mackay Sugar Acknowledges WHS Proceedings and Reaffirms Its Commitment to Safety
Mackay Sugar has pleaded guilty in the Mackay Magistrates Court, to a workplace health and safety (WHS) incident that occurred in September 2021. The incident involved an employee who sustained injuries while undertaking routine water sampling. The matter was adjorned for sentencing until July.
