Mackay Sugar Cyber Security Incident Update 5

We are continuing to progress the safe restoration of the systems that support cane supply, harvesting and mill operations as we respond to the recent cyber security incident.

We can confirm that we recommenced harvesting operations and cane rail operations yesterday and crushing recommenced at Farleigh Mill overnight. Harvesting operations and cane rail operations have commenced supply to Marian Mill, with crushing planned to commence on Saturday.

We are also making progress at Racecourse Mill. As we previously communicated, operations will recommence once key systems have been restored and validated, which is likely to be early next week. As we move into crushing at two mills, our ongoing priority remains the safety of our people at work and the public, with cane train awareness now a focus.

Our cyber security experts continue to work alongside our teams to investigate the incident and restore systems safely. We will provide updates as we continue our investigation if we have relevant and accurate information to share.

We are communicating regularly with our employees, growers and key partners, and we thank them for their support, patience and hard work over the past week.
